Well, that was a long time coming and didn't it feel good.
Today we played like we know we can and like we did last year, hopefully we have finally clicked and this is how we'll play for the rest of the season.
Highlights today were great communication, quick chasing down, pressure on the opposition when they were on the ball, terrific through balls and let's be honest some great goals too.
The positivity on the pitch was noticable today, everyone pulled their weight and no-one left it for others to do their work, well done everyone, you certainly rose to the challenge.
A big thank you to all the parents today, the atmosphere was lovely and it was nice to see both sets of parents and families enjoying the game together.
Special thanks to Shaun today, he has helped me set up at every home game this season, it is very much appreciated.
