Although we were missing some of our player today, so were Haslingfield. So both teams fielded weakened teams.
Today's friendly showed us where we need to keep developing, in chasing balls down and making the right decisions when we subsequently get the ball.
There were some great performances today and that kept us in the hunt at 2 - 2 until late on, but a couple of messy goals cost us.
Well done to those that made it today, it keeps the match tempo going and Haslingfield were a polite and challenging team, perfect for an early season friendly.
No training this week and no match next weekend, enjoy the half-term break.
