Waterbeach White have certainly come on since we played them in the pre-season friendly.
Today was a good battle and a real nailbiter going into half time 1-0 up, the posession was in our favour but they were threatening on the ball going forwards. Some solid defending and goalkeeping was shown by the Colts today, which looked to frustrate Waterbeach.
With the wind behind us and our tails up the second half really proved to be our half and some great forward play and confidence pushed the game into a solid home win.
It was a good turn our today from a helping out and spectator point of view, many thanks for that.
Next up the Cup game v Gamlingay at Potton Middle School next Saturday, 10am kick off.
