The U13's put on a solid display today at Saffron Walden.
The conditions were tricky, a boggy pitch and gale force winds aren't normally conducive to a fine display of footbal but to be fair to both teams, that's what the spectators had the pleasure of seeing.
Solid defending, a structured midfield and relentless chasing down of every ball pretty much somes up the U13's today versus endless energy and an unwillingness to lay down from Saffron Walden gave us end to end football by two well spirited teams.
The six Potton goals didn't happen by accident, each was well deserved and well taken, well done to the forwards.
No game next weeken as Bar Hill cannot raise a team given the half-term break.
