Our second home game of the season, did anyone else notice the pitch looked a bit better? I also like the fact that Colts HQ have managed to arrange with the league to get our home games at the same time as the U14's, giving the school field more of a football feel.
Super ref Gino was back on stage and doing a grand job, the team were in fine form and we played well in all areas, well done everyone and a well deserved victory to get us back on track.
What a difference a week makes or maybe we just need to step up when we play the stronger teams? Maybe a bit of both.
You may notice Nigel is making plenty of team changes this year to move the lads around in games, this should give us options moving forwards, inspire the team in different positions and ultimatley help when we move up to 11 v 11 next season.
As always, a massive thank you to everyone for helping out with the teas, running the line, wearing the respect bib, refereeing and finally packing up, it all really helps.
