All hail Fred (the Saffron Walden keeper) The best opposition keeper we have ever seen.
Let's face it, we should have won this game but for their keeper and their dogged determination.
Those present know our touch was a little off today, random bounces caught us out and our strikers couldn't make the final phase through their defence. Sometimes, that's the way it goes.
On the plus side, all our player gave their best and from a spectator point of view it was a truly great game to watch, proper end to end stuff and Potton pushing everyone up in the final 10 mminutes to try and seal the win.
Many thanks to Gino for reffing and everyone else for helping out today, a good team effort all round.
