A tough day at the office for the U13's today.
Linton were bigger and stronger, which played to their advantage in midfield whilst our passing in the final third wasn't a sharp as normal, this gave Linton overall advantage.
We could look at the sickness within the team as a background for our defeat but Linton suffered that too, ultimately we need to work on our performance against the tougher teams and try and improve as we go.
Possession today was 50/50 today, but we couldn't break through when on the ball, again something to be worked on.
Lots of positives though, some dogged determination was seen from some players and good spirit whilst losing from others shows the team is maturing.
Next week we are home again, this time against Haslingfield who are one place below us in the league. We'll need everyone on form for this game I'm sure.
