We gave the league winners a real battle on Saturday, a little like the second time we played Exning.
On balance we played well, had good possession, showed lots of individual skill but perhaps didn't take our chances in front of goal like we normally do. But to give Bottisham a much tougher game the second time of asking is all we can really ask of the team, the result usually sorts itself out.
At training this week the team all commented that they enjoyed the game and thought they played well, their spirit was lovely to hear and as they look back on the season know they have done well and consider the odd loss a blip rather than the norm.
