The U13's returned to winning ways this weekend with a convincing 2 - 9 victory against Histon, putting us up to third in the league.
The atmosphere is always good at Histon and this visit was no exception.
Because of a school trip, Histon were down to eight players, so to make things fair we only fielded eight players too, although we had a few subs to rotate where as they had none.
The first half saw the Colts take charge and going into the break hold a 0 - 6 lead. The second half was very different though, Histon battled back valiantly and really stretched things for the Colts, but at the finish 2 - 9 represented the dominance we had on the game.
It was great to see some of the newer players show their character against Histon. More match time following a strong performance in training was a credit to them for their perseverance, a special well done to them.
Many thanks for all the parental support this weekend, we out numbered the home support three to one and we could hear it across the pitch!
We are at home next weekend, 10am kick off v Cambridge Celts. This is the last fixture before Christmas. Ho Ho Ho.
