After a lengthy lay off it was good to see the boys back playing. Haverhill were the visitors, who we beat 4-3 in our last game prior to lockdown.
We started well leading one nil with a good run and cross from Olly Young leaving Luca with a neat finish. As the game progressed we tired slightly which is understandable considering the boys have only had three training sessions and the smallest squad in the league leaving us with little option to change things.
Haverhill equalised but we took the lead once more with a strong tackle and pass from Josh on the right wing enabling Olly Y to run at the left back and score a great goal.
Two further goals from Haverhill saw them take the win.
Special mentions go to Charlie, who was man of the match, for going in goal the whole game and Deon for coming back to play for his local team - we hope to see you at more home games Deon.
Due to a mixture of some players moving away, some long term injuries etc it is imperative we try to get some more players for next season to enable the team to continue next year.
