A good showing against Bar Hill has put us in a solid fourth place in the league after four games and on nine points.
We scored two goals in each half and this season are scoring from set pieces and open play which is great to see.
Again we rotated the team to give players opportunities in various positions and the overall positivity from the team in response is nice.
This week Nigel reintroduced the player of the match award. Whilst this weeks award could have been given to numerous players who put in a great individual performance, newcomer Sam took the award for his endless chasing down and battling, he even got a couple of shots in on goal when in midfield, showing his confidence on the ball. Sam's acceptance into the team by his team-mates is noticable, both on and off the pitch. Congratulation Sam!
Next week, home against Histon, 10am kick off.
