Isleham were the visitors for the strange concept of having to play them twice in one morning.
The first game was the HOME fixture. we started with a new formation and Noah making his debut in goal.
We started well against a very physical and robust opposition and hit the bar twice through a thunderbolt from Isaac from outside the box and a long range free kick from Olly Young. We deservedly took the lead through great work and battling from Isaac on the right enabling him to cross for Toby to tap in from the six yard box.
The game was comfortably seen out resulting in a 1-0 HOME win.
MOM went to Noah for a clean sheet and great debut.
The boys had a fifteen minute break and were then playing the AWAY game at home?
Isaac got us off to a great start with an early long range shot giving us the lead in the 4th minute.
The pressure built and we scored further goals through Luca, Isaac and an Olly Young hat-trick.
Final score was 6-1.
It was a great performance and one that we deserved for all the boys efforts in both games.
MOM was shared between Olly Young and Toby.
A great double header result moving us up the table with six vital points.
Next Saturday we play Cambridge Celts at home and the following Saturday we are at home again for another double header versus Histon.
Lets kick on and take 9 points from these and push us up higher in the league!
