Potton Colts v Linton Aztecs ...again After 2 previous closely contested wins against Linton this was the 3rd match against them this season. Potton were caught napping shortly after kick off as Linton got an early goal. Potton then had a prolonged period of great play which eventually resulted in a well deserved equalizer scored by Bobby. The second half started and it was still 1-1. Potton made some chances which were saved well by the Linton keeper and ensured it was still 1-1 at full time. There then followed 10 minutes of extra time, but still no goals, and that meant..penalties. Potton scored some great penalties with Zen, Liam, Joe and Bobby hitting the back of the net which a trio of great saves by Curtis meant Potton got the victory that they deserved after a close fought game.
So a good returning to winning ways for the team and a Quarter Final against Histon Hornets in 2 weeks at home.
