Having won promotion this was going to be a testing season to see how they would fare against stronger opposition.
Linton proved to be just that but after a very even opening Liam put Potton in front which gave them the confidence to push forward and Luke doubled the lead in the 2nd half. Linton then upped the pressure but Potton defended solidly to start the season with a very good win.
